Mansard

This type of conversion is commonly found in Central London areas, where clients are obliged to follow the mansard trend of similar conversions, as it is often required by the local planning authority in these areas

Dormers

This option is where the existing loft space is of insufficient size for the proposed conversion. It creates additional headroom for the staircase and new room(s)

Rooflight/VeluxTM

This option is generally adequate for those contemplating the smaller loft conversion, generally for a single bedroom, study, etc, where adequate height is available within the existing loft space. Rooflights/VeluxTM can be installed with minimum disruption, as the shape of the existing roof does not need to be altered

Parkview carries out loft conversions by following one of the two procedures below:

• We can provide a full design and build service, from drawing the initial plans using experienced architects and structural engineers to handling the planning application and building regulations application, and then carrying out the build stage from this point

• We often find that the client already has the plans drawn up and planning permission has been granted. Parkview will then take over the project for the build stage and furthermore, is able to commence works at short notice due to the depth of resources of the company
