The construction stage of any project will run far more efficiently by the quality of information issued by the architect, therefore, Parkview only works with experienced architects with a creative and proactive quality able to offer solutions and advice.

Good architects will have the following qualities:

The ability to deliver creative designs whilst achieving what the client desires.
The ability to draw up the plans according to the client’s budget, alternatively being able to offer alternative solutions within the client’s budget constraints.
The ability to successfully navigate through local planning authorities.
The ability to compile a clear and concise set of professional drawings that can be understood by both client and contractor.

Rear Kitchen-Dining Room Extension

To Whom it may concern: Feedback for our Kitchen Extension built Oct 2018 to February 2019, Completed by Parkview Construction Jack was very patient and must have spent six long sessions discussing options. He wasn’t at any point pushy even though we must have stretched him! We found that Jack is an experienced builder and so is able to impart information he has learnt from similar jobs. We were lucky in that he had just completed a very similar project for a close neighbour, which proved very helpful for both of us. . Jack is excellent at giving weekly and daily updates. In the four months of work, he visited every day at 7.30 to discuss the day’s plans. He would generally visit several times a day to monitor progress and would call at the end of the day to give an overview. Jack has some fantastic staff working for him. All have their specialisms. They are amazingly punctual and all good natured with a great sense of humour. The work started in October when the weather was getting colder, and the evenings drawing in. Jack agreed to move the boiler right at the beginning of the work, otherwise we would have been without heating. A temporary kitchen was then set up which was a great relief for us. There were some concerns, Jack would always listen and resolve these in a timely and professional manner. Jack would update us of unexpected items that would arise together with associated costs. Similarly for any additional work that we requested, Jack would always inform us on the costs. Jack would provide us with a statement of account regularly, which was helpful to ensure we kept within our budget. Jack has been excellent throughout. Even with the snagging issues since the work was completed. Everything was sorted out without any problems very quickly. We are delighted with the completed product; the finished result exceeded our expectations. Would definitely use Parkview again for other projects, and we have no hesitation in recommending Parkview Construction.

Roof Replacement

Dear Jack, ‘We were pleased with the work Parkview carried out for us. Wall and roof repairs were needed very high up and in an awkward position, but Park View worked out the logistics with no bother, and the work was completed well within time. Very happy from start to finish!

We have just had a very positive experience with Parkview who did our side return extension. Initial consultation was straightforward and the work commenced on the date we agreed on 6 months previously. The guys who were on site went above and beyond to keep mess and disruption to a minimum and were very accommodating (especially un-plumbing/plumbing the washing machine back in for us to use throughout the build! Everyone turned up on time every day for the best part of the 2 months the build took and worked flat out at all times and were no hassle to have around. As well as the main team, the plumber/electrician etc were also all great. Jack kept us informed of everything that was going on and what deliveries were coming on what days and was more than happy to accommodate a few last minute changes! After having a bad experience with another company building our Garden room we weren't particularly looking forward to having the upheaval of a big build but it couldn't have turned out any better and we're very happy with everything from communication to quality of finish, which is unusual as I'm fussy! Overall we are very happy and would not hesitate to use again or recommend. I actually wish we'd found them years ago.
