Which? Trusted Traders is an endorsement scheme that recognises reputable traders who successfully pass their rigorous assessment process. Not just anyone can become endorsed. The assessment process involves:

  1. Credit Check

    A preliminary credit check to validate the financial health and stability of a sole trader / business.

  2. References

    Customer reference checks, chosen at random by a member of the Which? Trusted Traders endorsement team to ensure a breadth of consumers are consulted.

  3. Business Procedures

    A thorough examination of business and administrative procedures.

  4. Interview and Assessment

    We are visited in person by a Which? Trusted Traders assessor and interviewed.

  5. Code of Conduct

    The trader / business signing up to the scheme agrees to abide by the code of conduct and their terms and conditions.

  6. Endorsed Trader

    Once the trader / business  has passed the assessment process, only then will they be endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader.

Loft Conversion

Dear Jack, This letter is to say “thank you very much” to both yourself and all the teams of men who worked so hard here on our loft extension. We greatly valued your regular visits at all stages of the project, and the way everything which arose, was promptly dealt with by yourself and the workmen. The men were all very easy to get along with and all were anxious to please. We appreciated their prompt time-keeping and willingness to cope with changes and difficulties that inevitably occurred. They certainly tried hard to limit disturbing us. It was also good to realise that all the independent inspectors were impressed with the quality of the building work at each relevant stage – it gave us necessary confidence in the progress too. With renewed thanks to all concerned – especially those who spent so many weeks here. They will be missed!

Kitchen Refurbishment

Dear Jack, I just wanted to put on record our sincere thanks for helping us out with the works at our house. When we had a drain collapse, the insurance company needed us, at very short notice, to find someone for so-called “enabling works” which amounted to taking the whole kitchen out and then putting it all back again a few days later. You stepped into the breach, fitted in with the drains company’s schedule and put up with their (repeated) delays in completing the work. Your workmen turned up spot on time and were so helpful. Everything was taken out and put back with no breakages, a triumph in itself as the kitchen cupboards, etc. were pretty old. It was perfectly done – one day the kitchen wasn’t there and a few days later it was back again, with minimal fuss and mess. Thank you so much. We will certainly use you again if (when) we need building works done and will recommend you to our friends. With all best wishes,

Rear Kitchen-Dining Room Extension

To Whom it may concern: Feedback for our Kitchen Extension built Oct 2018 to February 2019, Completed by Parkview Construction Jack was very patient and must have spent six long sessions discussing options. He wasn’t at any point pushy even though we must have stretched him! We found that Jack is an experienced builder and so is able to impart information he has learnt from similar jobs. We were lucky in that he had just completed a very similar project for a close neighbour, which proved very helpful for both of us. . Jack is excellent at giving weekly and daily updates. In the four months of work, he visited every day at 7.30 to discuss the day’s plans. He would generally visit several times a day to monitor progress and would call at the end of the day to give an overview. Jack has some fantastic staff working for him. All have their specialisms. They are amazingly punctual and all good natured with a great sense of humour. The work started in October when the weather was getting colder, and the evenings drawing in. Jack agreed to move the boiler right at the beginning of the work, otherwise we would have been without heating. A temporary kitchen was then set up which was a great relief for us. There were some concerns, Jack would always listen and resolve these in a timely and professional manner. Jack would update us of unexpected items that would arise together with associated costs. Similarly for any additional work that we requested, Jack would always inform us on the costs. Jack would provide us with a statement of account regularly, which was helpful to ensure we kept within our budget. Jack has been excellent throughout. Even with the snagging issues since the work was completed. Everything was sorted out without any problems very quickly. We are delighted with the completed product; the finished result exceeded our expectations. Would definitely use Parkview again for other projects, and we have no hesitation in recommending Parkview Construction.
